About MeOver to the right you'll see a picture of my family. That's me, my wife, and my daughter. My daughter is a lot older now. I'll show you a picture of her further down. I can't talk about me without talking about them. They are the largest part of my life. My family comes first in all instances. My wife, Angela, and I met in Louisiana. I had lived there for about 8 or 9 years. We fell in love pretty quick. November 13th, 1995 is when we started dating after having met on the 11th. We talked on the phone often and hung out together when we could. She was attending college at the time. When December rolled around, I popped the question and she said yes. We were married on July 13th, 1996.
Less than four years later, on February 27th, 2000, we had this little girl. Her name is Nicole. She's not so little anymore. The picture to your left is when she posed as a fairy. Her mother loves fairies. She's an excellent student, and I like to think that her mother and I have had a large part in that. We are right there when she's doing her homework. We ask questions above and beyond what is called for in the homework. Guess you could say we ask questions that steadily rise on Bloom's Taxonomy scale. And it works. She is beyond her grade in reading level. She is 100% in math. (I started her early in that one.) She amazes me every single day. I'm quite the proud father. I know. I know. You clicked on a tab that says "resume" so I guess I need to go ahead and provide one. I'm providing the resume itself, my Praxis scores, my college transcripts, letters of recommendation, and quite a few other documents that I'm proud of.
Hope you've enjoyed this trip into my life. Now go click on the other standards and find out more about me as an educator. Oh, and I couldn't help myself. I just recently finished working with a very cool kid named Robbie. That's a picture of him and me to the right. This was taken at Christmas time in 2008. He was a joy to work with. |
